Kunio Okawara is responsible for creating famous vehicles and robots from such classic anime series as Yattāman, Super Robot, and most notably, the Gundam series. He is the first person ever to be credited as a mechanical designer in the anime industry, and now he’s taking his nearly 40 years of experience and applying it to camera design.
Okawara designed this camera, dubbed “Okawara Factory,” to celebrate the anniversary of Isetan Men’s Residence. No word on pricing or availability, but pardon us if we can’t stop drooling over this gorgeous thing.
